Billy Joel Legacy - Tribute Albany reviews
Ed Roland, Richard Simmons & Elton John
Roland, akin to Elton John, emerges wearing massive white sunglasses and energetically dances like Richard Simmons en route to a Ricky Martin show. Initially distracting, his performance is highly entertaining. The band delivers an amazing performance, playing almost all of their hits alongside a few promising new songs set for release next year. Tonic's opening act is impressive, as is OLP's. I was so impressed with Tonic that I purchased their greatest hits during the concert. Overall, one of the best concerts I've ever been to.
Nevertheless, the venue requires improvement. We had seats in row G near the front and the seating arrangement felt cramped, resembling a United flight without the tazing and unkind flight attendants. The chairs need more space. If they intend to pack us in like sardines, they might as well pour olive oil on our heads upon entry - that would be fair.
